Elize Van Beljon

Elizabeth is known as an energetic, multi-talented, determined, and dynamic entrepreneur, with great spirits and abilities. She has been in the Esthetics Industry for over 30 years. According to the Myers Briggs personality type indicator she falls under “The Inspirer” known to be compassionate, warm, enthusiastic, bright, and full of potential with great people skills.

 

She strives to always be a better person and making the world a better place. She has the ability to keep an open mind when listening to another’s opinion. She is blessed with a tremendous ability to give and set grand expectations for herself and is a person that is never satisfied with mediocrity.

 

Her esthetics motto is: “Where will we live if we don’t look after our Body?

 

Together with her Electronic Design Engineer husband, of 44 years and two teenage daughters, they moved from South Africa to the United States in 2001, their son joined them in 2016. Their oldest son who is an IT Network Engineer is married and they have three children, they currently live in the Houston area. Their oldest daughter is married and has twin girls, she is a successful Real Estate Agent in the DFW area. Their youngest daughter who has her MBA in Architecture is currently a Chief Art Designer at an IT Academy. She too is married with a 2-year-old son and a newborn. 

 

     During the last 40 years Elizabeth had several successful businesses:

-       Flower Creations

-       Eva Elegant Educational Woman’s Association

-       Dial-A-Meal Catering and Wedding Event Planner

-       Finesse Wardrobe planning and personal shopper

-       Fashion on the Run fashion show choreography

 

In 1996 she decided to study Esthetics and Aromatherapy. She completed her International Aesthetician Diploma at ITEC (International Therapist Examination Council) from Gloucestershire, England.

 

After her studies she started her first spa, Beauty Secrets. With her holistic approach, Elizabeth completed an Aromatherapy Massage Certification and later presented Aromatherapy and Massage Technique courses herself.

 

She authored numerous articles for the local newspaper, The Roodepoort Record about spa and beauty treatments, make-up, massage, and aromatherapy.

During the period from 1997 to 2000 she took part in several exhibitions, seminars and demonstrations at Esthetic Expos and Conferences. She was a highly active and productive marketer and representative of Promat’s International products and Evian Brumisateur, which she marketed with remarkable success to spas, salons, and pharmacies all across South Africa.

When the family decided to move to the USA in 2001, she sold her business. With the challenges of moving and emigrating taken upon her, Elizabeth helped the family settle into their new life in the great state of Texas. When her daughters left for college, she had her qualifications evaluated and received her Texas Cosmetology License. She was working part time, but by popular demand, from her valued clients and a true passion for the esthetic business; she decided to venture into a full time and professional setting and opened the Spa by Di Vine Doors in December of 2008.

Elizabeth enjoys the stimulation that her career offers. She will always continue her education as a spa- therapist, holistic healer, and body worker with the latest technology and cutting - edge spa education in a relevant and real world.

Her nurturing transcends through to her other interests such as Ballroom and Latin dancing with her husband, interior decorating, wine collecting, traveling, home cooking, fly fishing, photography and dinner parties to name but a few. She has completed a study of her ancestor’s heritage and family tree and is currently busy drafting a book about their emigration to the USA.

Elizabeth is a true care giver in every sense; her clients trust and adore her. She lives life to the fullest and believes in CARPE DIEM – Seize the Day!
